Project Summary
Lifestyle Simulator Game is a board game with an educational mission commissioned by the founders in 2019 to complement their courses and promote the Lifestyle Method. From initial feasibility consultation to the comprehensive implementation of all components (dashboard, tokens, playing cards, accessories, rulebook, box, markers and logo). The game’s objective is to foster self-awareness among players as they progress through levels across the four key areas, gaining insight into their own circumstances and learning strategies for improvement.
In my role, I took charge of the comprehensive design process for the board game, meticulously crafting not only the visually striking box packaging but also curating the content within. This included the creation of 16 decks of cards, thoughtfully categorized into four di- stinct areas: Personal, Relationships, Health and Business, each color-coded for easy identification. These decks were further subdivided into four progressive levels, culminating in a grand total of 480 cards, ensuring a rich and immersive gameplay experience.
Moreover, Player Sheets to track progress, the inclusion of 4 colored pencils, a Lifestyle marker, 50 tokens, a designed game board and the rulebook, ensuring that every aspect of the game was crafted to captivate and entertain players.
The game serves as a personal interactive growth tool for adults, optimized for 4 players and lasting from 2 to 5 hours.
For this project, I had the opportunity to collaborate closely with a professional in board games development. Working in tandem, we operated with precision and agility, navigating tight deadlines to meticulously prepare all materials for the upcoming large-scale production in Germany. Our concerted efforts were aimed at ensuring that every aspect of the game’s production process met the highest standards of quality and efficiency within the ambitious timeframe of just three months.
The boardgame is not available for online or in-store purchase, but rather serves as an experiential tool exclusive to members of the Lifestyle courses, accessible only through premium access to their services.
